Canelo lost to Mayweather, in fact floyd made it look easier than any recent opponent - cotto, Guerrero, pacquiao, berto, maidana. Canelo's resume gets WORSE because of that performance, not bette.

Bud Crawford fought Porter, Postol, Brook who are as skilled as they get. And Diaz who was an olympic gold medalist. You don't win an olympic gold without amazing fundamentals. That's all Bivol is, amazing fundamentals, which gave canelo fits.

Lara it's clear as day canelo got his ass whopped. Another hit to the resume, not a boost.

His last 4 fights were in Nevada and NY. Many of his biggest fights were not in Nebraska. He won his first title in the U.K. Not sure how he always has home field advantage. Everything you said about him could easily be said about Spence who is always the "house" fighter and larger than his opponents, he's even bigger than Crawford. So much that he talked about moving to 164 to fight Canelo at a catchweight.

I don't get the hype, he's 34 years old and he hasn't stepped it up. His resume is razor thin, he only looks good because his competition is so weak. Without google, I doubt anyone knows who he fought before Porter.
