Errol Spence is the best jabber in boxing. Bivol used his jab as good set up distractions. Canelo doesn't really jab effectively.

I'm not necessarily saying they have to jab but clearly what they are currently doing isn't working. I also said Canelo seems to have forgotten how to throw combinations.

You have people on this site claiming Canelo is a masterful boxer and is better than Marquez, Morales, and Barrera....all of those 3 had a good jab and knew how to set up shots.

He fell in love with his speed, power and hype.

By the 6th round, Canelo should have been plowing forward, jabbing to the head and throwing to the body nonstop like his name was Ricky Hatton the rest of the fight.

But his pride wouldn't let him concede that he was being outskilled by a bigger man. Thats why he never changed it up despite being dominated. That's why Reynoso was pissed at him. He wanted to rip off a beautiful combo that wowed the audience and KO'd Bivol.

Everyone but Canelo could see that aboslutely wasn't gonna happen.
