I would just love for Canelo to fight and defeat Benny first in order to redeem himself of this loss and then rematch Dmitry again if he so chooses. He has to prove to the boxing public that he was never ducking David from the start.

If i was Bivol that would be one of my stipulations for a rematch. Either fight and defeat another LHW contender or titleholder or David Benavidez win or lose. If Canelo is willing to do that; Then yes he would be worthy of a rematch.

However, until he does. A rematch with Dmitry is pointless because he's only going to get his shit pushed back in again by Bivol. The fight was too one-sided for a rematch and plus Canelo was not the champion.

So fighting Bivol again in a rematch is futile. Canelo may just get himself knocked out this time.
