knocked him down twice and still got a draw in his homeland so that means he lost. That was at 160. In the rematch, it was a massacre. Hopkins said the altitude bothered him in the first fight and I actually believe it. Taylor lost the first fight. Shady scoring. Duane Ford actually gave Taylor the 12th when he was in danger of being stopped and beat around the ring. The 2nd fight was much easier and they robbed him again. I knew what it was. The younger more exciting guy they wanted to put the belts on.. And it didn't work out on their favor.

that was no domination that roy did. Roy won 8-4 across the board(I agree wit that) y, but Hopkins came on strong in the end. If that was a 15 round fight, it would have been interesting.
It was time for Hopkins to move up in weight, by the time he fought Taylor. But be honest mate? Hopkins was hardly dominated by Taylor. Two close fights.
TWICE now, Alvarez has been dominated 'Dominated at his peak'. Hopkins was very rarely dominated, during a loss.
Only really Roy Jones Junior sort of dominated Hopkins.
Jermaine Taylor beats Alvarez for me at 160, you are mocking Taylor's endurance 'Taylor had better endurance than Alvarez'.
In both of the Kelly Pavlik fights, Taylor displayed better endurance than Alvarez. And the ability to fight at a high pace etc'.
Note: I am not taking into account Hopkin's loses at the end of his career. I don't think they should be factored.

There is no doubt that Roy won. 9-3 is how I scored it, but I can understand 8-4. Regardless, Roy won wide, but it definitely wasn't easy as the fight went on. 3 more rounds would have really tested Roy. I think they should bring back 15 round fights. 15 round fights, and smaller gloves. Contrary to popular belief, it is gthe larger gloves that cause more injuries because it allows a fighter to take more punishment. Most of the damage to a fighter is done in sparring with 16 oz gloves and headgear, but everyone ignores this.Comment
