So you're saying I should pay $80 and still not be able to hear the corners in between rounds because an ad for some ****ty movie is playing? I'm dumb because I expect to not have video advertisements during the main event for an event I've already paid for? What other platform still inundates you with adverts $80 later?
The Disgraceful Evolution of DAZN

Boxing is a nitch sport. Haymon was clowned by the major networks and DAZN dumped a billion into a nitch sport. DAZN should have purchased Haymon's 200+ fighter roster and platform at a discount and neg the R&R debt. There is their boxing content with bargain contracts. Only have to pay a premium to bring over top guys for 2-3 fight deals. Even Uncle Bob and Dela Hoya would play that game. If you had Haymon's roster, you have Canelo for 6-7 fights with 3-4 really big profile fights.1st. DAZN started off offering 1-month subs for $9.99 with no ads or PPV ever and a 1-month free trial.
2nd. One month Free Trial Dropped.
3rd. Sub increased to $20 a month with no ads or PPV.
4th. Ads were added on top of the $10 increase.
5th. For the biggest fights, you must pay $79.99 for the PPV with Top Rank level undercards and ads shown between every single round of the main event.
All this within the span of four years while they hire 20 commentators for just one boxing event and a majority of them are terrible at their job. Does DAZN even consider the fact that their broadcast team is awful and that no one likes Chris Mannix? And they have the nerve to ask for even more money? Wanted DAZN to succeed but they want to fail.
Dumb giving the GGGimmick an equity deal. He would take peanuts just to chase Canelo. Really dumb management decision there.
Haymon non-traditional model WITHOUT Ring Girls Extra level of dumb right there.

DAZN is pointless tbh. I canceled when they raised it to $20 a month. No point paying $20 a month when they have a new ppv model for their big fights.
Also, they post a solidly detailed fight highlight video on YouTube a few hours after the fights conclude. You could literally catch all of the major fight moments in a condensed 10 minute YouTube video without paying a dimeComment

Your kidding right? Everyone’s doing that. It’s another way to make more money. Who here doesn’t want to make more money?

I'm not going off of based of what you like, I strictly talking quantity and quality. If you feel you're getting $100 then good for you, I gave my opinion on how I view it. DAZN is putting out enough quality content to to justify me paying them what they are asking.....especially after then had already made several other promises and went back on them.
What are you talking about, content? I pay a yearly subscription to DAZN to watch boxing, it’s $100/year. My 10 year old watches Disney+, it’s $80 a year. She like shows about horses, puppies and princesses, I watch boxing. If you like to watch boxing, Disney, Netflix and Hulu don’t show any.Comment
