    Bivol is disciplined enough that he doesn't take needless risks. He could have been more aggressive and seriously hurt Canelo. Bivol let Canelo off the hook

      he may have let him off the hook regarding hurting him more, but if he did say press the action more and get caught with a flash hook from the ginger one himself (and even only got buzzed a bit), judging by the cards, he could have easily lost the fight (or drawn)

        That's a possibility, getting caught and suffering a flash knockdown. He's a natural light-heavy who can take Canelo's best and trade with him if it came to it, but he wasn't willing to take that chance considering how judges score Canelo's fights.
