Mayweather would have NEVER taken such a risk

I just knew some rtard would find a way to make this fight about Floyd lol.To move up to a weight class where he would be giving away a size advantage and IMMEDIATELY take on one of the undefeated champions who stylistically would be a nightmare. History will be kinder to Canelo. He’s a throwback fighter. Remember, it’s Mayweather who said “I don’t put myself in a position where I might lose”.Last edited by RadChang; 05-09-2022, 10:05 AM.Comment

He is right stylewise at ww Floyd was cherrypicking the same short short armed, flat footed come forward fighter.
You gotta go back to when he was Pretty Boy and he had to fight who they put in front of him to say he actually took a risk.
Back when people was still using beepers.Comment

So Castillo didn’t look like trash in his fight before Floyd? Floyd saw that fight and knew he was ripe for the cherry pick. Kovalev was pushed on Canelo by DAZN. Look it up. They lost serious money on the Jacobs fight and wanted him to fight Kov or GGG to make up for it.
You’re clearly an irrational imbecile going through the stages of grief because Canelo lost so badly.
Castillo was ranked #1 at LW no matter what you post. Bivol was ranked #2 at LHW.
Canelo also has already fought at LHW against Kov, who wasn’t the top LHW when canelo fought him.
Dude, don’t be this kind of Canelo knob gobbling a$$hole like some other posters.
He lost. It’s not the end of the world. Just give Bivol credit and move on.Comment

Did Canelo say he had trouble to cut down 1.5 lbs more before the fight? Did he look weight drained? He rehydrated and was 20+lbs bigger than floyd.
canelo didnt gas, he was not hurt, he was not stopped, he was not dropped, he got out boxed from start to finish, twice now, once by a a guy that weighed 20 lbs lighter than him, once by a guy a couple pounds heavier than him.Comment

Sheer ******ity. You do know that when Floyd fought at 154, his FIFTH with class, he would literally LOSE weight after the weigh in while his opponent would rehydrate 20lbs.To move up to a weight class where he would be giving away a size advantage and IMMEDIATELY take on one of the undefeated champions who stylistically would be a nightmare. History will be kinder to Canelo. He’s a throwback fighter. Remember, it’s Mayweather who said “I don’t put myself in a position where I might lose”.
Even at 147 he'd weigh in at 147 and come in at 147. Every fight Floyd would give up 10-20lbs.
Canelo weighs in at 175, probably gains a good 15lbs.Comment
