I don't think Alvarez should bother that much with punching up top in the rematch.

Body, Arms, Throat, Chest. These are the area's he should focus on and destroy.

Round after round, complete and utter bombardment.

Good ole fashion blood force trauma.

Do it at a higher intensity, I have stated that all Alvarez can do? Is fight harder 'In other posts'.

Same game plan, but fight harder. His endurance for me, has never been elite.

Somehow he has to improve it.

Alvarez for all of his skills and abilities. Has no gears, and his endurance is below par.

I don't think he can fight Bivol, with his normal methodical style 'Waiting for some sort of mistake'..

Even if Bivol does make a mistake, Alvarez may not have the power to change the game with a single punch.

          Low IQ.

he did 0 damage to bivol with that strategy.

what you're saying for him to up the intensity would only make him gas out quicker and get stopped.

canelo can increase the pace BUT be selective about it... kinda like in the 2nd GGG fight where he was the aggressor and threw more punches but he also didnt just throw a bunch of punches.. he applied pressure but was also selective with his shots, he used his upper body movements to create openings. this is what canelo needs to do in the rematch against bivol...

It opens the guard and it slowly locks up that arm as a weapon, if you cannot hit the chin or the ribs you better start pounding on something to breakthrough.

He struggled to carry the extra weight, add in a bigger tight boxer and you saw the result, he cant fight at 175 like he can at 160-168, not against a top guy like Bivol having so many physical advantages and too many skills, Canelo looked like a bloated old fighter, it was the weight he carried and the size/skill of Bivol that's behind the loss.

Maybe Nelo can try to damage the right arm in the rematch... since it didn't worked on Bivol's left arm...
