I like the new canelo, thought this fight was 50/50 saw bivol as a better plant. I had the fight 117-111 to 116-112 max for bivol. The fact the judges had it a draw through 12 you see its rigged. Most of the power shots canelo through missed the rest hit the arms. Bivol was landing clean going in and out.. The have the revamp the judging they was out to rob again for nelo shawn porter credentials ringside is totally gone how he had bivol down through 6.who knows i think he was watching ufc talking boxing clearly wont the same fight

I was too to be honest. Bivol mostly dominated the fight but neither guy looked in total control the entire fight. It's one of those fights where the ending was meh and you ask yourself, why did it even have to take place?

Canelo finally bit off more than he could chew. Now I hope those thoughts that he could go to heavyweight are finally squashed. He looked small against Bivol, couldn't put any hurt on him and you think he could go up to Hvywght to do damage? No way. If anything, Canelo's chin would have finally been cracked and he could of been dropped, KO'd.

I'll give him the credit of going up in weight, yeah, but honestly, he's not going up in weight to make better/exciting fights. I didn't expect the Bivol fight to be exciting, just as the other euros he fought weren't. He's been going up just for history. That's a double edge sword. I prefer the guy going up to make exciting fights other than just a historic move if that move is against a meh opponent.

He was unanimously awarded the fight. The cards were closer than they should have been, but when it goes to the judges, there are only three outcomes and it was the right one. Nothing was robbed. What decision were you looking for?
You're right. But those scores make it feel like a robbery was about to take place. I think that's where the outrage is coming from. That fight was nowhere near close.

Could you imagine the uproar if the fight was scored a draw?

I knew Canelo was in trouble when this fight was first announced. His team thought they were picking a light hitter as usual. Instead they got an excellent boxer who gave Canelo a boxing lesson. Which he deserved for making Bivol come out of the dressing room first. That was disrespectful to the sport and to the WBA champion.
Another issue with this fight was Bivols purse. 2 million?
IF there is a rematch those issues ahould be rectified.
Caleb weak hands Plant got 10 mil for his belt. Bivol deserved that as well.

I dont think he will get the rematch. I think Canelo's team will opt for the GGG trilogy. But they had better beware of that one too. GGG would love nothing more than to put Canelo on his ass. And he still has the power to do it. Canelo has been the beneficiary of quite a few close. calls. He has bought into his own hype. His comeuppance is coming. The Bivol fight aas only the beginni g. Peace.
That's disgusting. He didn't even get half of what they gave that clown Sweet Pillows...

I know Bivol isn't drawing crowds but neither is Plant. At least BJS brought the rabid UK fight fans and apparently pulled in 5 mil.

The crooked scumbags learned from the first Golovkin fight backlash. They showed restraint in the AJ/Usyk fight and now Bivol/Canelo even though they wanted to rig those fights so badly.
