The man's been retired from the sport of boxing for over 2 years now and you're really gonna criticize him for picking the #2 ranked PFP fighter in the world for his tuneup fight instead of fighting Manny right off the bat? Give me a break.Comment

of course he is and he should! accusing pac of being on steroids is the same as saying roach approves / makes his boxers take steroids!!!
floyd sr ain't just hurting pac's rep, he's hurting everyone on team pac's rep.
I mean, everyone knows how Mayweather Sr. is known to run his mouth, and at times is quite entertaining.
Granted, he did go a little far with such accusations but still....its Mayweather Sr.
never heard of one winning some case in court cause roids are a common thing is sports,
so being accused of it is not something out of the norm.
Anyway Sr. is a jackass.
**** you! roach didn't go out of his way to **** w/ floyd sr... floyd sr started this shiiit. if anything, floyd sr is trying to stop the pac fight by slandering Team Pac.Comment

We're on here practically every day like addicts reading about boxing. We're more familiar with Floyd Sr., Pac, Freddie.
People who don't follow boxing will see a headline regarding Pac and steroids and won't bother researching it. Non-fans will end up thinking when asked about Pac Man, "Manny Pacquiao? Yeah, I heard he takes steroids..."
In case you missed it, athletes taking steroids is still seen in a negative light by the media, sports organizations and a lot of sports fans. People generally don't like "cheaters." Boxers work hard to build a rep. You'd probably want to protect your rep if someone was slinging poisonous darts at you.Comment

Floyd started his claim with "In my personal opinion". Well, how are "opinions" viewed by the court of law?
Opinion is a defense recognized in nearly every jurisdiction. If the allegedly defamatory assertion is an expression of opinion rather than a statement of fact, defamation claims usually cannot be brought because opinions are inherently not falsifiable. However, some jurisdictions decline to recognize any legal distinction between fact and opinion. The United States Supreme Court, in particular, has ruled that the First ********* does not require recognition of an opinion privilege.
