No other fighters are taking risks like Canelo, Usyk and Lomachenko

No other fighters are consistently taking risks like Canelo, Usyk and Lomachenko.

Critics of these fighters is why boxing is at the bottom of all sports. Fighters who are doing big things for the sport get hated on. Those who take risks and fight the best consistently. These guys are hated on and not given any credit for what they do.

I remember when Usyk beat AJ, all critics can talk about is how overrated AJ is, instead of talking about how great Usyk is.

It’s the same BS every time. Either sh/t on the loser or sh/t on the winner.

I see fans using this loss to Bivol, to talk about how Canelo would have also lost to Andrade, Benavidez, and Charlo.

Well damn. That’s all you have to do to rack up L’s? So all Canelo had to do in his career is fight Dmitry Bivol and his entire career could have been judged based on that.

Bivol beat Canelo, now everyone and their mother’s can. The most amusing part is that Bivol, who clearly beat Canelo by outlanding him with the better power punches, is somehow proof that Trout, Lara, GGG all beat Canelo. Like it re-affirmed those “robberies”…as if Trout, Lara and GGG did anything remotely close to what Bivol did. No where near what he did.

Anthony Joshua takes risks in my opinion.

Errol Spence Junior fighting Danny Garcia, after his accident was a very big risk.

There are plenty of fighters who take risks and challenge themselves.

I think what you are saying is a tad dismissive of other fighters.

Note: When Uysk faced Joshua, both fighters were taking risks. Many people after the first fight, pleaded with Joshua not to take the rematch. But going against the universal advice, Anthony Joshua has taken the rematch 'For me that is a fighter taking a risk and challenging himself'.

Agree but id throw in AJ and there's a handful of fighters in lower weight classes that are/do as well,Jesse Rodriguez being the most recent.

Just stop the damage control already. Errol Spence and Terrece Crawford are facing off this fall. More risk and skill in that ring than any of these other fights.

And I respect all 3 of them for taking big risks but at the end of the day Bud vs. Spence is just as big a risk as any of those fights.

No one take risks like those 3 as consistently as they do.

Compare Canelo’s resume at 31 to all other active fighter’s resumes. No one is doing that. This guy is only 31. You can’t tell me in the last 5 years, that there is another fighter who has taken more risks than Canelo.

You can tell me other fighters take risks. But you can’t tell me other fighters take more risks than Canelo. How many top 10 fighters has Canelo fought starting from The Ring #4 ranked Ryan Rhodes at 154 when he was 21 years old to The Ring #2 ranked fighter at 175? How many fighters have fought and beaten that many top 10 fighters in a span of 10 years like that?

And he is not even done. The guy is going to rematch the man who just dominated him worse than Mayweather did.

Absolutely, and they are the loudest too.

Did you hear? Charlo, Andrade and Benavidez beat Canelo last night. Canelo is now 57-5-2. He needs to retire already. All he is doing is taking L’s. He just made history for most losses in one night by a pro boxer.
