Canelo has slowly grown away from what initially made him great (speed, reflexes, slipping punches) into someone who just chases KOs. I think after the first GGG fight he learned he has a very good chin; and as he has moved up in weight he grew in power and started liking it. Except he has been leaning on it so much that he lost who he was. I said it after the Plant fight, he leans on his power to chase KOs too much now.

The crazy thing is, I bet if he went back to his old ways, like we saw in round nine, he could take Bivol in a rematch....well that and a little help from the judges (like he got last night). I just don't know if that old version of Canelo is still around.

Emphasis on the word HAD, as in at one time. I mean Roy Jones Jr. HAD a Light Heavyweight belt at one time too. But going into last night neither he nor Canelo had a LHW belt; and I think its pretty obvious thats what is being implied.
