Fighting champions at 175 is way too much for Canelo. He is small even at 168, but give him credit for challenging himself. Let's hope the others, including Charlo and company, start following suit.

Bivol a great champion but he swallowed some nice uppers from canelo his arm looked similar like callums smith when fought canelo, power is just different at 175 bivol used to that and hes totally right canelo biggest mistake was to rely solely on power punches no wonder he completely gassed out ,bivol work rate is amazing

Bivol is such a superb technician. I think he's too slick to get hit by the bigger punching Beterbiev.

That would be a very good, if not perhaps great fight.

Can Canelo beat Bivol in a rematch? He can't outbox Bivol, so his only way would be to swarm him Mike Tyson style, be ferocious. Otherwise, little chance of beating Bivol.

How ? By beating a 168 lber who was only at 168 for a year or so ?

great job great win by Bivol. But he proves he’s the best at his weight by beating the best fighters in HIS WEIGHT. Period.

Boxingscene: WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol shocked the boxing world. Also Boxingscene: Unlike Kovalev, the younger Bivol is still in his prime and a superior fighter.. Only casuals, bandwagoners and line towers are shocked. Anyone with decent boxing knowledge had Bivol as favourite.

They will never let Canelo go anywhere near Beterbiev.

Canelo almost got another gift decision.
Absolutely. At most, I had Canelo winning four rounds. Total dominance by Bivol and really suspect judging. Canelo can’t fight at this weight and doesn’t have much punching power. Bivol gave him a boxing lesson. Great defense, a solid left jab with multiple combinations. Much taller fighter with a long reach who knows how to box. I don’t see anything different in a second fight.

Like Bivol but he forgot about his manager standing under a Game of Thrones Weirwood in 2019 saying we arent trying to fight Beterbiev now. 3 years later Budd and Beterbiev is the older fighter. That's called tying to age a fighter out of his prime before you fight him.
