It's not just that he took a risk and fought a naturally bigger opponent, it's that he looked terrible, non competitive, one dimensional, and exposed.

I agree.. Or Bivol is just that good.. He was faster, had better defense, better footwork, better jab, better combos.. He was just the better fighter altogether

This is what’s bound to happen when you dare to be great. Floyd might have caught that L if he’d moved up to 58 to fight Martinez for the MW title.

in Floyd’s case, we’ll never know. Respect to Canelo.

Canelo was overconfident in the first half. That's what cost him the fight. As soon as he realized that Bivol wouldn't end knocked out like Kovalev, his soul was deflated and his punches started lacking steam.

We all know canelo loss to bivol because he's too green right now.

When Canelo hits his prime he is gonna beat bivol.

Canelo going vegan instead of his old diet of Mexican beef clearly cost him here. Get back on the beef 'Nelo, lad. Nash out.

Bivol fought a basic, disciplined fight. It wasn't anything spectacular, tricky, unexpected... What he didn't do is make mistakes and let Alvarez Tee off on him. Bivol didn't even grab, hold, or put his weight on Alvarez, he simply used and worked behind his jab.

Alvarez showed no ability to adjust or initiate a plan B of attack. He looked nothing like a "highly skilled P4P fighter." Even worse for a guy considered P4P his defense was equally as bad as his offense. Bivol could probably have landed at will had he let his hands go more. Alvarez was flat footed, straight up and down, available for target practice; all horrible indicators of what's to come for his future boxing career.

Yes I can because he lost to GGG, Lara, Bivol, etc. Heck, they had it 115-113 last night when in reality he might had won a round. LOL.

We need Canelo to go back to his old diet for the rematch, so we can find out. Nash out.
