Berto is the new Jermaine Taylor, only much worse, and with less skill. He will get exposed soon, probably by a !D brawler.

He's getting a better deal than Mosley is. He is being offered a fight against Cintron on the Pavlik-Williams undercard on December 5th while HBO tries to make Mosley as ring rusty as possible.

Surely he'd rather fight Mosley than Cintron given the choice? How did this happen? Last I read, Clottey and Mosley had been booked to fight each other on December 5th, then it was going to be moved to Dec 26, then to January, and now with no explanation he's back to Dec 5th but minus the opponent he should have had. Why?

Yep, and DiBella should just throw him in the ring with Clottey, I think Quintana could beat Berto though.

I Would favor Quintana over Berto anyday. We've seen what he can do againts contenders (Julio) and even champs (Williams). Quintana is a crafty fighter that would give anybody a hard time, if he is healthy that is...

Because HBO have their heads up their asses. They don't want to schedule the fight close to Christmas, and understandably so. But you can't tell me they don't have something open in the first couple weeks of January.

I doubt Berto fights Mosley, Im almost sure they see that as a loss. If he does fight Mosley, he will fight for big money, DiBella aint dumb.

Just for that blatant insult Lou needs to put Berto in with a dangerous
Welter weight because as it looks, Andre Fake "O" is going to jump
ship at some point! When you work without people or have a team
you should never go about any buisness with the people that have your
best interest in mind. I used to like Berto but I know for some reason he
is a hype job and someone like Mosley/Clottey/Cotto would knock this guy
                    out easy.

That doesn't explain why they changed it from Mosley-Clottey in January to Clottey-Cintron in December and Mosley-Berto in January.
