Beating the likes of Kamil, Rolls, Shot Porter, Horn > Nelo losing to Biv ?

Which Nelo opponents can be compared to Horn, Kamil, Shot and injured Porter, Rolls and how much credit would fight fans give Nelo if he beat those types of opponents.

Keep in mind, beating those guys can make a fighter p4p king.

      It's a matter of perspective.
Since Nelo is not as loved as other fighters, it will appear to be sour g****s.

Fans of those other guys can bltch and moan and it will be taken as righteous grumbling

      Whatever happened to SMSr ?

Also, care to answer the topic ?

P4P been a thing since the beginning ?

Lists, as they go, tend to be slanted towards whoever is more popular at the time.

To think, beating the names I mentioned can get a fighter any props is amazing

I always found it weird that fighters like Crawford who are very skilled but haven't got the best resumes are very much in the p4p discussion but guys with better wins like Usyk, Canelo, Spence etc always have to do more to be in consideration for p4p. There's always one more weight class they have to move up to and one more champ they must beat before we can talk about p4p but then someone like Crawford has been mentioned as p4p since his win over Horn.

How does that logic work? Not saying this is the consensus but there are people who would tell you with a straight face that Crawford is p4p no.1 and for Canelo to get there he has to clean up 175 first, Usyk must beat Fury, Spence has to beat Crawford and move up to beat Canelo while Crawford earned the no.1 spot with his win over Porter?!

Fanboi ism at it's most obvious.

Switch it and they will piss on any fighter with such a soft resume.
