Why are some fans giving Andrade and Charlo imaginary wins over Canelo?

    As the title suggests.

Dmitry Bivol just beat Canelo at 175lbs. Apparently there are some fans adding Canelo to Demetrius Andrade’s and Jermall Charlo’s resume as a win because of that. Two Middleweights that have yet to step foot at 168 and are nowhere near the size and strength of Bivol.

Why is this? How come some posters are this oblivious to weight classes?

Tonight was just more proof of what we've been saying all along.

Competent defensive fighters will always be able to neutralize Canelo through his predictable timing and slow feet. Let me repeat in simpler terms - competent defensive fighters all always be a threat to beat Canelo Alvarez.

There is a reason he chose Liam Smith, Chavez, Cotto, Khan, GGG, washed Kovalev, the bums at 168 over Andrade and Charlo all those years. And it's because they were always the biggest threat to his record.

But hey, if you want to prove me wrong, you should encourage Canelo to take those fights.

No one in their right mind is giving Charlo a win over Canelo unless they are LDBC.

Andrade's skillsets, length, reach, style, etc line up perfectly with FMW Lara and Bivol to some extent. Canelo ducked him at 154 and excused himself from the undisputed fight on DAZN. Are we supposed to pretend we didn't see that? I'd favor Andrade to box his ears off, not a good as Bivol but better than Lara, which would allow Canelo to rig the cards on him too.

Are you believe the Bivol fight was really a 115113 fight?

And I am not saying Charlo and Andrade would beat Canelo. What I'm saying is he knew that those were the 2 most dangerous matchups for him stylistically one the last 8 years and why he never fought them. I said the day this fight was made that Bivol would be tougher than both those 2 because of the weight. I recognize Canelo is a great fighter but he is very careful about who he picks to fight. That's why I was surprised he picked Bivol.

Dude… Andrade and Charlo do not have the physical attributes of Bivol. They have nothing to do with Bivol, not even close. That’s laughable and bizarre. They do not have his weight, strength, and ability to take a punch like Bivol. 154lb Vanes drop Andrade. Liam Smith shook Andrade at 160.

Two fighters that have never stepped foot above 160, will not have the same success as Bivol.

You must be out of your god damn mind to predict two middleweight’s success vs Canelo based on a loss at 175. That is monumentally nonsense. Reaching big time.

Yep. Bivol showed us hardcore boxing fans why Canelo didn’t want to fight Errol Spence.

You need to read my other post to clarify.

I never said that Andade or Charlo are more dangerous than Bivol. I was one of the few people on here who applauded Canelo for taking the Bivol challenge because he was MORE dangerous than the guys in the PBC deal.

But the fact remains their styles are definitely more dangerous than the guys he fought at 154/160/168.

Bro, stop w the Vanes and Liam Willams fights (he never fought Liam Smith). Andrade won both easy. People were saying the same **** about Bivol because he didnt look good versus Richards but sometimes pure boxers have uninspiring performances.

Its probably how they saw the fight from the ring apron, if a fix is in its a draw, no logic in soft scores in a fixed fight, the judges saw the right guy win, and all having the same scores Id say the judges scored how they seen it.
