he can't beat anybody his size or bigger with equal talent, but never bet against him when the opponent is two divisions smaller...

Pavlik is a strong middleweight and can punch in volume, but also take a punch. Williams is faster, but He has always had a huge height diference that made people have trouble. Pavlik lost to Bernard who had the style and also the weight of the fight benefited him much more. Williams can work very well, but Pavlik isn't a small guy himself and has a high workrate too.

I predict a Pavlik UD because williams isn't slick and actually lost to Quitana who is no where near as good/slick/powerful as Bernard Hopkins.

If you guys think that Pavlik's power will be his weapon here then Pavlik is ****ed. Paul Williams has taken monstrous shots from Glen Johnson who is a legit Light Heavyweight.

Wiliams sometimes spars with Heavyweights, true story. You can throw Pavlik's power right out the window in this fight, he'll need boxing skills which he has none.

Fighters from lower weights frequently spar against bigger guys up to and including heavy weights. Sparring is not the equlivalent of a boxing match. I don't know if anyone remembers but Andy Lee sparred with the Klitshkos. I don't think that means it's fair to say he can take punches from a Klit. Maybe Williams will win, but Pavlik's power should be a legitimate concern until he proves in the ring he can take that power or completely avoid it.
