This is a very interesting fight.

Pavlik looked pretty crap against (the very denfensive) Rubio so it will be awesome to see what happens when The Punisher makes him fight.

Forget Pac-Cotto, Mayweather-Marquez. This is the real fight of the year.

Rubio was running and covering up all fight. He refused to engage, when someone fights to survive it's a lot harder to look good against them. Had Rubio come forward and punched, he likely would have landed a couple times on Pavlik but Rubio would have gotten stopped a lot earlier and overall looked a lot better. Pavlik was definitely not stellar but it's not Pavlik's fault that Rubio wasn't game.

that wasn't hard to tell.....but try to convince some of those hopkins nutthuggers that pavlik was outmatched...they'd swear mary pop just beat a mayweather caliber opponent...

Pavlik is a strong middleweight and can punch in volume, but also take a punch. Williams is faster, but He has always had a huge height diference that made people have trouble. Pavlik lost to Bernard who had the style and also the weight of the fight benefited him much more. Williams can work very well, but Pavlik isn't a small guy himself and has a high workrate too.

I predict a Pavlik UD because williams isn't slick and actually lost to Quitana who is no where near as good/slick/powerful as Bernard Hopkins.
