right on. The only way the LHW diff showed is Bivol’s ability to take a punch.

    Well done on the money

And still the corrupt judges were on the rob trying their best to steal a dominant win from Bivol. Great night for boxing, finally someone who beats Canelo actually gets the win unlike others who have outclassed him. Great night of boxing in the usa, two weekends in a row of Reynoso fighters losing to more skilled boxers.

Bivol was a lot tougher than I expected because its not like Canelo didn't land. Those arm shots make quick work of Smith.
I thought it was a fairly close fight, Canelo slipped or blocked most of Bivol's punches but lost ground towards the end

Canelo looked really unremarkable in there.

This was a seriously high risk/low reward fight to begin with. From a commercial perspective its not one of the bigger fights ginger could have had.

I was thinking similar ... it's a pattern. Lots of hype, fight guys that aren't ready for the big lights ... beat them rather easily. Proceed to big fight with a boxer who don't buy the hype nor cares about the specatcle .... lose spectacularly. All the while hearn is barking and singing abot the "greatest ever this & that" .... while simultaneously talking about the money his foil is making. Then BOOM ... reality hits ... a real fighter (opponent) does an expose. hearn is great for the wallet but a catastrophe on a legacy and on a fighter staying grounded in his craft.

Bivol was great, he stuck to his game plan. Also had an amazing guard and he picked off most of Canelo’s shots with his arms and gloves. Fantastic performance!
Logic told me Bivol is too big and too talented,
but I bought into Reynoso's "gameplanning."
I bought into the idea Canelo wouldn't take the fight unless he had a solid strategy to victory.
And I thought Canelo would still make his way to the body.
Canelo made is way to a pair of elbows and biceps.
And he went for that solid Russian chin way too much.
But I guess he had to without any body available.
I still think he dominates 168,
                Benavidez included.

All the silly yanks downplaying Bivol and purposely mispronouncing his name can hold dat. Proves not everybody from a different part of the world is a bum, eh?

Props to both men, Canelo showed why he's a true ATG and P4P great, going 12 rounds with an elite fighter with a big size disadvantage. And Bivol proved his skills and his worth, lets get that Beterbiev fight for undisputed!

I'm getting the feeling some haters have come to appreciate the risks Nelo is willing to take and not wait until he's a geezer.
Tell you what, he stayed in the ring and took the loss. Surprised as **** when camera panned to him. Class
