Extremely extensive over 300 fights winning the Russian nationals twice & world combat games gold medallist, world youth championships bronze.
Many of his losses were by walkover and he competed as high as heavyweight.

His last legitimate, in-ring loss to my knowledge was in the 2011 Russian finals vs Maxim Koptyakov.

Appreciate it! Certainly doesn’t sound like Bivol will be out of his depth here.

This will be a tough fight for Canelo. I think a Bivol upset win is far more likely than a Canelo KO win.

Man, Canelo doesn’t look as fit as he usually does and it’s understandable.. Bivol looks ready! I think we may see Bivol stop Canelo

You act like that's never happened.

I pick canelo, but if Bivol wins it wouldn't even be the biggest upset in the last couple of years.

Canelo Alvarez wins via stoppage between rounds 9-11.

I am sensing that Bivol may burn himself out. While Alvarez will be fighting at a methodical pace.

Bivol may be competitive, but in the process he will be over exerting himself.

People have mentioned that Alvarez does not look to be in his usual condition. I think his condition is optimal.

Alvarez looks to be well fed and not as lean. Against a bigger fighter, I think he needs to be heavy. I would imagine Alvarez will weigh heavier on fight night than he did against Sergey Kovalev etc.

would be a huge upset! The #p4p best and biggest star in boxing beaten by a fighter with average power who does nothing particularly special…most big upsets happen in the HW division, where one punch can change everything.
