This is such an interesting fight, but doesn't seem to generate as much publicity because Bivol is under the radar.

He's quiet and humble and not one to brag.

I also notice that Eddie Hearn, unlike any other promoter, is very much in most of the photos at the staredowns. Oh well, he's that kind of extroverted promoter I guess. He's very good, just saying he does like the attention as well.

Boxingscene has published at least 3 articles in recent days which assert that Bivol has a loss on his record. Not true, of course. He's 19-0-0.

Maybe I'm just jaded as of late with all the mismatches going on but I don't see this as some great fight.

Not saying Canelo is ducking anyone or anything like that or this wasn't a good opponent to take. I just don't see it.

Canelo is going to whip this bum like BJS etc. Every fight lately it's "This is a good fight" and it's immediate from the opening bell that the favorite is a much better fighter. Fights like Fury Whyte, Stevenson Valdez etc were all stinkers and I see the same here.

Bit of a silly opinion, Bivol is an undefeated Russian beltholder in the division above Canelo is used to fighting in, he's not a protected Western softboy like BJS or Plant. That alone means this is no walk in the park.

The other factor is Bivol has a super amatuer record and can really move his legs, he's not going to get dominated by Canelo, Canelo is not Superman.

If he's drugged up to high heaven on PEDs/Mexican beef is another story though, there's always that to factor in.
