Comments Thread For: Hearn Justifies Middle East as Venue for Joshua-Usyk Rematch: Would Be Mad Not to Consider It

At the end of the day, Eddie Hearn's biggest concern is the bottom line for his fighters. Presumably, that is also why the head of Matchroom Boxing has no qualms staging fights in places where boxing fans have limited access to, like the Middle East.

What makes the fighters the most money usually makes the promoters the most money, so... Of course, why not triple, quadruple your own pay..

The rematch should have been in Ukraine; that definitely won't happen now, with the war. But bring AJ back to America. Bring the heavyweight championship match to America..

Money is the bottom line, same as when they virtue signal in regards to womens boxing. If they feel it will increase profits they are all for it. Just like they will be doing for "pride" month with the logo being a rainbow. Yet they will consider the middle east, which is against gay marriage and womens rights.

Joshua could be Konshu’s avatar and he is still bound for another humiliation to the superior mind and superior talent

WBA and IBF should have ordered the rematch complete by February, ranked contenders are waiting for there shot at a title. Title changed hands 8 months ago, this **** show should be over with by now. But as usual AJ holds up the division for 2 years everytime he loses. Who cares about WBO, its a fake title like IBO

Not to mention Eddy can get a 24 foot ring, a pup tent stadium and an audience that DKSAB. Andy didn't get paid any more than he would have got in Atzlan. What a crock. That fight would have filled a stadium in the South West.

The next time, if AJ makes it to the final bell, he'll get his arm raised. Eddy will see to that. AJ v Fury is the payoff, that's sure money all around. The Arabs can collect on the back end.
