This most likely goes the distance

Bivol has a good chin. He also has some good hand speed to keep canelo off him if he uses it right.

Biggest advantage here for canelo is hes fought a lot of taller stand up boxers. Bivol is up against something unique, there arent any other thick little 5'7 manlets at light heavy, how do you even emulate that in sparring without fighting welterweights who dont have the power canelo does.

Canelo is used to getting inside and backing these guys up.

If Bivol can take canelo's body shots and has stamina to use movement all night then its going to be a close fight I think. I just have a hard time picturing how well and clean bivol lands on a shorter canelo who is going to try to slip his shots while coming in.

This has the potential to be a very good fight. I don't particularly care who care who wins as long as it is a good fight and we get fair judging if it goes the distance (yes, I know, I'm a dreamer).

Going into a Canelo fight thinking about decisions and robberies is already taking an L, or anticipating an L. It shows low confidence.

Your fighter is the bigger man, the one with the longer time at 175, push for the stoppage. Have some more confidence in him. Don’t instill in his head that this is going to some close 12 round fight that will be on the judges hands.

The mind is a very powerful tool in boxing. Actually the most powerful tool in boxing. Bivol is going to lose just because of the weak mindset of his manager.

Kornilov must have that old song "At The End Of The Day"...tattooed on his brain.
Someone should put him out of his misery by telling him that then "Night Must Fall".

I notice that every Judge mentioned , the three chosen have ALL given Alvarez winning scores.

People keep saying Bivol has a good chin but Canelo hits hard to head & body. Bivol has not faced a puncher like the White Mexican.

Joe Smith Jr comes to mind.

Really? So you think none of the LHWs that Bivol has fought hit as hard as Alvarez?

The questionable score cards that have benefitted Canelo really are a shame, because he is legitimately a great fighter.

He is doing big things right now, sadly his history of favorable cards, and picking off big names past their prime, somewhat diminish a hof career

Easy night at the office for Canelo. If Canelo doesn't get the stoppage get ready for some robbery claims.

Canelo is the current Floyd Mayweather, he is in a league of his own and there is nobody out there who can beat him. There is just no one, so no matter who the opponent is from 175 to 160, he will be the favorite. If he does move up to Cruiser I can see it being too big of a jump in weight, he may actually get whooped.
