That's not a 'has been'. That's someone entirely relevant to the heavyweight scene.
Joshua has never beaten a legitimate champion in his career thus far

Yes and no. AJ has worked hard, but let's be honest, a lot of things have been handed to him on a plate.

He was earmarked for the top since his amateur career, he's always had access to he best facilities, the best coaches, he was signing multi-million endorsements from the start so he's never been short of money, his first world title was pretty much gifted to him.

Let's be honest, his Olympic gold was given to him as well.

If he beats Usyk, it is the greatest heavyweight win of the past 20 years.

Joshua's win against Kiltschko, was the greatest heavyweight title fight of the past 20 years.

On the sly mate, Joshua is overachieving compared to Tyson Fury. Joshua due to effort and willingness to take on all comers and opportunities can potentially surpass Fury in resume 'Come his next fight'.

Joshua will have two super elite wins on his record, plus a deeper resume than Fury. Plus he would of beaten every single man he had ever faced.

Anthony Joshua's critics and haters, must be petrified that he will not disappear.

Not at all, what has Usyk ever done at HW? Won a reasonably close decision against a hype-job and went life and death with Chisora? Fury's win over Wlad in Germany would easily be the better win

Nah, parts of it were pretty boring. Fury-Wilder III was a better fight.

"People say I only focus on what's in front of me, which is a good way to be, but also I want to look at what the bigger picture holds so I can steamroll through, I have to, so I can get to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow."

Joshua sounding annoying here. Who are these people? We've seen Joshua twice looks past his immediate opponent only to get battered, so literally no-one is saying he only focuses on what's in front of him. It would be ill advised indeed to start musing over a Fury fight when the guy who already out-boxed you is up next.

Also, AJ, if you're going to use metaphors, please don't mix them up. Steamrolling through to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? WTF?

Usyk is going to be really tough. Focus on that. If you win, that is a big achievement in itself. Worry about everything else after.

Fury is retired but we will see what happens s when fury is called out.

Fast tracked so quickly from 2015 to what 17-18 Joshua kept saying **** like he's not ready, let him build his career.

It's not like the IBF said fight Martin and that was that. Joshua was fighting Takam in an elim for Martin. Martin offered Joshua the title fight and Joshua turned it down saying he's not ready to be a champion. There were a few months of Martin campaigning to get the Joshua fight.

Dude probably would have had a better career just going the normal route to be honest. Joshua wasn't wrong, he wasn't ready.

Why does Fury have to beat Joshua? If AJ can beat Usyk and win back the belts, then sure, but if not, why does Fury have to fight a guy with consecutive losses & no belts?

Joshua will never have a better resume than Fury because he's never beaten a real champion, even if he beats Usyk, he's still not beaten as many as Fury has.
Fury vs Wilder III, was not better than Kiltschko vs Joshua.

Joshua vs Kiltschko was fought at a higher pace, and there was a higher offensive skill level on display. Fury and Wilder were stumbling about the ring after a few rounds.

Usyk is a unprecedented talent in boxing, Olympic Champion, Undisputed Cruiser weight Champion, and current WBA, WBO, IBF & IBO World Heavyweight Champion.

All Usyk has ever done in his career is win, 300 amateur wins and only 15 loses, and undefeated as a professional. This is a momentous challenge for Anthony Joshua.

Fury has just retired after beating a fighter, Joshua ****** out many years ago.

Joshua in his next fight, is facing a formidable opponent.

It will be herald as one of the greatest heavyweight wins of modern times if Joshua beats Usyk. This must absolutely terrify you mate.

You are petrified that Joshua will not disappear like your boy.

I can think of quite a few reasons off hand without even thinking.
Pride I guess, if there are people out there who thinks Josh beats fury. We will always wonder if fury can beat Ali, or if Ali could beat marciano. But we don't need to wonder if fury can beat josh, if fury does beat josh. They are of same era, so why not it would be a pity not to?
Brook v Khan was made just because we wanted to see it and bragging rights.
There's no need to overanalyse things. For every person who wants to see there will be a different reason. Plus fury said he's goat and unfortunately Josh is just somebody fury needs on his resume
