Rydell booker is like 40 odd. He literally lost to James toney when James toney was a name at heavyweight. Wallins career has stalled. He's a good fighter but his style isn't really gonna get people invested in him. Not a massive puncher or anything like that just a guys whos got good fundementals but just likes to box his way to victory and alot of guys won't wanna fight him because he won't be a good pay day an he's tricky

I wouldve liked to have the Whyte fight it wouldve been a good solid test for him. Kauffman and Breazy were both out of shape and coming off a good sized layoff so it's hard to register those fights in my head as solid wins although they do have appeal as name value for a guy like Wallin. I'd like to see him in against a Ruiz or even Arreola and see how he does. I would give somebody like Frank Sanchez a reasonable chance at beating him honestly.

Don't disagree with you but he's promoted by Salita so it may be difficult to get him opponents unless he's brought in as the B-side or he gets a higher ranking. Right now he's only ranked by the WBC (#11), he needs activity so he doesn't drop out of the rankings like last time.

This is pretty much it. Add to that he isn't with any of the major promotions so it's hard to entice big names into the ring with him. He just needs to stay active and hope to move up in the rankings so people need to fight him.

It might be a case of this fight or no fight right now. He came to the UK for Fury vs Whyte, so he is keeping his face seen, and he did sign on to fight Whyte, he's certainly not a ducker. Problem with these kinds of fights as well, is it can be hard to get fully motivated and look good. He will 100% win this, but probably not make any fans in doing so, like the Soskolowski fight. Nash out.

Agree, and I don't think he's a guy who is going to create many highlights with KOs or smooth boxing regardless of the opponent. It's not really his style and he doesn't have the pop. He's big, rugged, tricky and has some decent boxing.

Hrgovic -Wallin would be a perfect IBF final eliminator. But unfortunately he is not even ranked by IBF. Hrgovic should fight somebody better than Zhang in final eliminator.

I agree. As I recall, Wallin was ranked by some of the sanctioning bodies after the Breazeale fight but the inactivity between that and his last fight (thanks Dillian) caused him to drop from all the rankings.

As for the IBF, pretty much everyone served that fight with Hrgovic for whatever reasons. Yoka stepped up but Bakole and the IBF wouldn't let him fight the eliminator when he was already committed to another fight (against Bakole). Frustrating.
