I think Floyd Mayweather vs Miguel Cotto was the fight of that generation on the sly. It happened at a better time, Mayweather was in better form 'And Cotto was on a roll, redeeming himself against Margarito etc'.

I have always kind of agreed with Malignaggi.

By the time Mayweather Junior fought Pacquiao, he was there for the taking in my opinion. Mayweather was way more eroded than Pacquiao 'He still beat Pacquiao without really getting out of second gear'. But if Mayweather would of been forced to get out of second gear, I think he would of been beaten.

At that point in Mayweather's career, his offense had decreased dramatically, along with his underrated physical strength.

Pacquiao should of capitalized on all of this, but did not.

The damage this fight did to Boxing in America is immense. Still hasn’t recovered commercially in the eyes of casuals and likely never will.

I recall getting two slices of Buffalo Chicken before heading to a buddies house for the fight. We've had larger fight parties for lesser events... I honestly wish the people that showed up for this one, hadn't because it was a snoozefest. I don't even recall 1 real exciting moment. At the end of the fight, everyone looked disgusted and cheated because despite everyone that showed up, we all agreed to chip in to make it less per person.

At the end of the day, just about everyone said, that wasn't the Pacquiao we used to watch and everyone agreed and walked out looking annoyed. Oh well. It was a farce the moment they fought 6 years too late.

Why do you people cry like little girls its 7 years ago, take a good look at how real boxing fans Manny fanboys are, 99% are gone and the few left cry like babies every time Floyd is mentioned, when the fck are you people going to grow up, Manny is not as a good a fighter as Mayweather its fcn obvious the history in its entirety is done and dusted there is no argument that holds water, live with it. you are only showing yourself as an emotional weakling that cannot handle the realities of life.

Other than that reread my post you responded to, notably the bits about controversy, there you will find answer to your query?
Floyd EASILY beat your hero and your undying man love will never change that.

              As expected.

But disappointed at the excuses from Manny.

And they fell right back in with Mayweather vs McGregor, the casuals never go anywhere they are always there waiting for the right bait and in they come again, they don't care anywhere near what you think, they are like one night stands there is good and bad and just move on to the next, everything operates in ebbs and flows boxing is the same as its always been because the nature of people never changes.

Garbage fight, the blame solely land on Gayweather. Fight was 5 years too late, after Pac had been through some wars and lost a couple. Even then he was injured and Gayweather still managed to stink up the place by running and hugging his way to a boring decision win.

Two guys fight each other, they both make comments of what they were going to do to win the fight, who lied.

Did Gayweather come out and say he was going to get a boring decision win by hugging and running? Because if he said otherwise, then he's the liar.
