More fixed fights. Every time Stevenson grazes Valdez's gloves, he snaps his head and makes a "I'm so hurt, he's so powerful" face. What happened to poker faces in boxing? That's because the face is for the crowd, to sell to them that the fight is real, and that Stevenson is a developing superstar. You can see Valdez missing on purpose to make Stevenson look like he has amazing head movement. I mean, Stevenson is missing on purpose too, but you get the idea. The script is to make Stevenson look like an alien from outer space. In order to make that happen, Valdez has to look like he's never fought before, and that Stevenson suddenly hits like Sergey Kovalev. But when Sergey Kovalev faces the big star Canelo, suddenly Sergey Kovalev looks like he can only punch like Shakur Stevenson, know what Im saying? Whatever the script demands on the night, that's what happens, and suddenly the boxers will look totally different than before.

Why do you watch boxing if you feel this way? Asking for a friend…

Stevenson really beating the brakes off the Mexican tonight. Seems like the American could stop him if he pushed harder

Difference between Stevenson and Haney is a chin. Stevenson can take one on the chin same way that wannabe old skool g takes it on the chin from black guys. Good job Stevenson

Shakur beat that boy like he was his daddy. No way Valdez ever wants to fight him again. Levels to this for sure.

Well done to Stevenson, far superior fighter in there tonight and he really gave the Mexican Olympian the painful boxing lesson of his life. Loved it, well done lad
