Try to stay away from social media until I've scored the fight myself. Watched the DAZN coverage and Shields appeared to favour Serrano for the win during the fight, whereas after she gave it to Taylor by a round... if the result is within +/- 1 point of what I saw I'm generally happy enough with it.

Lol I thought the same thing about Taylor -she looked like she couldn’t believe she won but then realized “Oh wait, I gotta sell this” and ran over to jump on the ropes. Pretty disgraceful decision but Serrano opened the door by taking her foot off the gas in Round 6. She made it possible for them to steal the fight from her.

There is too much talk about the whole taking her foot of the gas thing, Amanda dam near emptied her gas tank trying to finish Taylor and like Serrano said she was the smaller girl moving up 2 weight classes not the other way around, I knew when Serrano didn't respond to her trainer much after the 8th round that she was just about gassed out. We seen what happened with Vargas tonight moving up in weight. Even when she took her foot of the gas Kate really only won rds 8-9 clearly..

I thought Taylor won by a round. I felt Serrano let off the gas in 8th and 9th rounds. The 10th was close but I gave to Taylor. Probably the best female fight I’ve ever seen and it lived up to the hype. Great fight ladies.

Serrano won round 12? Was it because Serrano was outlanded in punches and power punches thar round or what because she clearly lost the the round. I’m all for the best man or woman winning, but come on now these joke comments gotta stop haha. If you clearly saw a robbery you might need to switch it up and reevaluate which sport you’re scoring.

Couldn't agree more, I thought this was the type of loss that at 35 would have Taylor complementing retirement after taking so much punishment.

That would be contemplating retirement, and like Tony Bellow the color commentator said Taylor should retire at the top code for ( having gotten the gift decision ).
Because she received the beating of her career, that'll have long term lingering affects on her mind, and body for the rest of her life.
She'll be having nightmare's about Amanda Serrano, the beating she received at the hands of, and how lucky she was to be gifted the decision that allowed her to hold on to the title that she had obviously lost.
