Had it 6-4 to Taylor when I watched it with Commentary on the night, just watched again with the sound down and now got it 7-3 to Taylor on second watching noticed how much Serrano was missing which is why she ran out of steam after a couple of very good mid fight rounds. Great fight though both women are a credit to female boxing, hopefully a rematch is on the cards and Serrano wins a close one next time to set up a classic trilogy fight.

There not talking about 12 3 minute rounds that's just nonsense speculation. Everyone keeps getting hung up in the beating she took in the 5th round yet fail to appreciate whereas while serrano gassed out Katie recomposed herself and whitewashed her the last 4 rounds. Yes she got tagged a few times in the 10th but she landed the more regular cleaner shots in that round also even tho she avoided her stick and move tactics to throw down in the last.

For you to say Taylor will be damaged permanently from this fight shows u you kmow nothing about Taylor. Persoon gave her a worse beating and it's didn't take her soul as you put it. Katie's a true champion and won all the championship rounds so enough said

Serrano beat, battered, and hurt Taylor way more than Persoon ever did in either of their fight.
Persoon didn't have Taylor stumbling, bumbling, and almost going down to a knee in 2 separate rounds as Serrano had.
We can finish this discussion after their rematch if it ever takes place, and if you still feel like discussing it further.

Youre clearly letting your emotional bias clouding your judgement like so many of this site. The American commentary was shocking mc caskill should never be allowed commentate again and sadly that alone influenced people watching. My dilemma was whether it was a draw of Taylor 6-4.
Sure as you point out serrano did damage in round 5 and was the more powerful puncher but Katie certainly won the first 2 rounds. And after 5 and 6 she easily won the next 3 with the last being a slugfest Taylor was more accurate for most of the round and prob shaved it.
Why csnt people call it as it is a close fight that Taylor edged. Persoon beat Taylor on my opinion but she certainly didn't lose 6 rounds in this fight if you score it round by round

The moment I saw you use Taylor and accurate in the same sentence I disregarded everything you wrote. How was she more accurate when she was the one who got wobbled herself in those closing seconds the only thing more accurate is her use of headbutts that's about it.

See this is the problem^. U say she wasn’t gifted a decision but you can only list 6 rounds u think she won. They also split rounds 1 and 2 to say Taylor won them both is quite a stretch. Even if u do give her both she only won 6 rounds. That also doesn’t give Serrano a 10-8 for round 5 where the fight could have been stopped. Any way u look at it she was gifted the decision. At far reaching best it was a draw. The correct decision was Serrano by 3 points or 1 point.

Katie won the decision, so deal with it you flakes. All the people on here dropping emotional salt and crying robbery are the same people who say "just accept it" when the decision goes their way. Flakes don't have the emotional fortitude to maintain that energy for boxing on the whole.

No I'm saying it was a close fight but I can't see what the uproar is about when Taylor clearly won 5 rounds. How inthe world could you give it to serrano by 3? Watchthe first 2 rounds without mc caskill commentating and Katie beats serrano to the punch every time

also that was not a 10-8 round, jist because someone gets wobbled doesn't constitute it as a 10-8 round. The best serrano could have hoped for was a draw but 6-4 taylor was the right decision

I watched the fight, and I saw Serrano clearly beat Taylor this was no split decision fight Taylor barely made it to the final bell.
That said it was just a boxing match nothing to get all bent out of shape about, if you get so emotional about this you must be a real wimp.
Grow up, get an education, and learn to respect other people's opinion's, otherwise at some point in time you'll be educated in life.

Once again how can you say Taylor barely made it to the final bell when she won the final four rounds and someone as bias as yourself will had to at least admit she won 3 of the 4.
throwing around blind accusations of racism is a part of American culture and i feel sorry you have to grow up in that environment but believe it or not plenty of places outside the US simply don't have those same racially charged ideas that you clearly do.
