right now he is the best UNDEFEATED fighter in the game. I watch all his fights cuz he talks alot of **** and he can back it up with his undefeated record. Will he lose all credibility if he losses?

Will it end up killing boxing?

Won't help to lose to a lightweight. Everything favors floyd in this match-up, if he loses he probably should retire but he won't.

I don't think it will kill boxing but I do think Mayweather makes things more interesting.
I think it depends on how he reacts to a loss.
If he retires again then thats not exactly a good thing.

Boxing doesn't revolve around one fighter.

Boxing will be alive and well as long as there are ppl willing to fight and ppl who want to watch fights.

                  undefeated records are overrated.

boxing was thriving and had one of the best years in the longest time without him.
