If Marquez where to beat Mayweather than it would elevate Marquez to P4P#1 imo over Pacman or at least even #1. It would be like when Duran beat Leonard.

I don' think it would hurt Mayweather at all. They would probably setup a HUGE rematch that would sell more than the 1st guaranteed. It would mean that JMM was taken lightly by many. Keep in mind had JMM been given the close decision over Pacman f(A lot of people still say he won that regardless of the record). Would people really be surprised if JMM won had that happened?

Mayweather is the favorite (What fight would he not be with the exception of myabe Pac ?) This is boxing and anything can happen. We have no idea how JMM or Floyd will fight on Saturday.
