All this build up for the same Vegas judges giving it the same 116-112 Canelo scorecard. Canelo can be outboxed but as long as he doesn’t get knockdown multiple times or knockout there’s no way he loses a decision.

The excuse of Canelo fanboys justifying the judges giving the decision will be “Canelo came forward and pressed the action” haha

Well, knocking a guy out > scorecards up to that point
Multiple knockdowns makes up for any close rds there may be.
Nelo haters love to give the other guy every close rd.
GGG fans are very forgiving of their leader -

Now GGG is too old to keep that promise

The way I see it is that Canelo struggled with an old, past his prime Kovalev who was off the back of a short camp and a very tough fight against Yarde. Canelo struggled because of Kovalev’s movement, length and his jab and only caught up with him as he ran out of steam.

I think Bivol also does all those things and some of them better. He’s perhaps less of a puncher than Kovalev but his jab and footwork of anything are better and his work rate is way better. Not so sure Canelo will catch up with him the way he did with Kovalev or overcome the disadvantages in length and mobility.

My money will be on a slim split decision to Bivol which should be unanimous but Canelo will benefit from dodgy scoring from one of the judges.

I think the gap going into the second half of the fight will be bigger and Bivol will be way ahead on points. I think Canelo will try to rally but won’t be able to close the deficit in time.

Bivol hasn't had the tougher tests like Canelo has had. And Canelo has looked better and better every fight.
Bivol has a good bit of talent, being around the same level as Canelo in boxing skills. The big question will
mainly be does Bivol have the power to drop Canelo... can Canelo avoid Bivols biggest punches. I'd like to
see Canelo win... but IMO this will be his biggest test. IMO it will be a close fight.

Its easy to look good when you're fighting the likes of Smith and Plant... Billy Joe Saunders had good success against Canelo and won three rounds in a row before making one silly mistake. Canelo didn't look great against Jacobs either with only 1 point on two judges scorecards preventing a draw. Why wasn't Canelo's power capable of dropping Jacobs when even feather fisted Sergio Mora could lol.

Richards almost beat him. Judges saved Bivol's a$$. Canelo will beat him badly.
