They seemed to be flummoxed when Fury came out boxing on the back foot instead. Fury coming in at his lightest weight since linking up with Sugar should have made them think about plan B, but they didn't seem to have any plan B!

The advice Whyte was getting from his corner in between rounds was equally naive. "Use your jab!" over and over again, and not once did I hear anybody telling him to step in with his jab, which is something I've seen him do quite well in other fights.

Repeatedly trying to catch Fury with over-hand rights was another mistake by Dillian. The days when Fury was susceptible to being caught by that particular punch are long gone. Deontay Wilder, who is taller, longer and faster than Whyte, threw over-hand rights repeatedly at Fury throughout their trilogy, and I can only recall one landing clean. And that was in their first fight, when Fury was a shadow of the fighter he is now.
Yeah, think you’ve called it **** on

For people to call Whytes performance poor is to imply he was capable of anything better. Whyte is just not good, I've been saying it for years and it should be obvious to anyone. State one thing Whyte is exceptional at? His left hook which he's only landed on fringe contenders like Allen? His power? Even though his KO ratio isn't remotely notable?

Whyte has the worst overhand right I've ever seen from top 5 - 10 boxer.

Maybe that's why Mike was doing that altitude training last week.

Oh, and his trainer Xavier is just a con artist.

You're right you said it was cuz they claimed he was going to come in heavier, which is equally as ridiculous.

Agree with kafkod. Dillian had no Plan B & TBBH his Plan A wasn't anything special. I found it v disappointing because this was a man who kept complaining that he had been denied a crack at the title. You would think he would've come out with laser focus. If you think of, say, Jack Johnson, Jake LaMotta, Jersey Joe Walcott, Archie Moore, Sonny Liston, these were guys who were kept waiting for years for their title shot & when they got it they seized it with both hands. Dillian, oops, dropped it.
