Somebody needs to get their facts straight. I just read the other day Pacman said he would fight Marquez again if he wins the fight. The thing is, Pacman doesn't think he will win and with all the accusations coming from Mayweather saying Pac aint ****, well of course Pac wants him to win so he can whip his ass (and make a boat load of money to boot). The thing is I ain't got no mo money Mayweather will price himself out of the fight. You cannot leave the sport for two years, come back, fight a small guy, and then claim to be the best. Plus, a fighter losing 10 years ago should mean absolutely nothing! He doesn't mention the same things regarding Marquez losing to Freddie Norwood or Chris John, does he? Floyd states that the losses Pac had in 1996 and 1999 prove he can't be the best, and he thinks that Marquez beat Pac both times, so therefore Marquez is the best. Marquez has lost more times then Manny. Floyd is just spinning, he can talk all he wants about being the best, but when you fight chumps (Judah, Baldomir, Bruseles, etc), and then claim you are great, it don't add up....

Here's something interesting: When he was getting ready to fight Gatti, he said Gatti was a C+ fighter, right? After he beat Gatti, he claimed to be a Jr. Welterweight champion! WTF? You can't trash a guy, say he aint ****, and then when you beat him claim you beat the best. This is all reasons why I will not buy the fight. I have a Floydcott going and everyone I know will buy Pac-Cotto and won't be buying Floyd-Marquez. One fight guarantees action and excite, the other equals boredom and a possible insomnia solution....

I disagree with the statement that Pac qasn't looking at Hatto when he knocked him out. If you watched it carefully, and I have stated this in another thread, it was a perfectly set up Knockout punch. It was a perfectly calculated punch meant to knockout Hatton and it did.

It was like Pacquiao said "Hey Ricky! Eat this!" then threw a fake right hand jab to distract him and followed it up quickly with a ******* left to the jaw. It was perfectly set up.

Look. He didn't even throw a follow up punch. As soon as he hit him, he practically walked away.

And can we stop mentioning Pac's two KO's? come on... he got hit in the ribs and lost because he was malnourished and weight drained.
While I can agree with the first part, the second is BS. He came in way over the limit the second time he got KO'd and the other one wasn't a body shot. He got hit on the chin. Nonetheless, he was a pro and it counts as a KO.

Do you discount Pac's Morales wins because he was also weight drained and shot too? See, you can't have ot both ways. He got knocked out twice. That's that and if you think they don't count then both Morales wins don't, and neither does the Oscar win either for Pac.

I think so. But that will change in a sense, but no matter what he wont get the love. His role dose not allow that kind of media/fan love.

Yet like he said years down the road people will forget the shyt talking and go to the records which will speak miles over.....

he will get his credit but its when he's walking around with a cane..... Pac could lose every fight on and still get the love. That's what eats him up. Mayweather loses a round and people act as he lost the fight... I feel what he's saying but it all goes back to being the bad guy. It comes with the role.

Well, he's unbeaten alright... I can give him that...
So as Julio Cesar Chavez Jr... hahahaha...

Pac will retire after the Cotto fight, win, lose or draw...
He's running for Congress come May 2010...
And Pretty Boy Fraud and his drug dealer dad will holler Pac's name to fight them... hahahaha...

              Ciao!

im just gonna ask the question i havent seen anyone ask: where will cotto rank on this P4P list when he beats pacquiao?....all these writers who bring up the P4p issue only bring up manny's,floyd's,& juan's names but knowone has even thought where miguel will be when he wins, as if thats an impossibility...what a shocker they'll have come nov. 14th when they realize no manny/floyd fight...

mayweather does come with a resumee, consider chicanito hernandez who he dismantled, gatti, hatton, delahoya and judah to name a few. All of them where very undisputed boxer's at one point, credit where credit is due. Insomnia!! Mayweather/marquez, jmm who has four defeats, the first one was his pro debut by disqualification and three controversial losses by split decisions, no way should this man be counted out. If you had seen atleast his last 4-5 fights you'd give him more respect, boxer, brawler, technician against one of the slickest fighters since sugar ray? I'd hope you would consider watching one more time..
