The sad part about it is that he is being exploited because of his name. The man has had enough and has nothing left. The commission should step in and put a halt to this fight.

He retired losing 7 of his last 13 fights so I don't know what value his name has
Even in his ''prime'', can't say he ever ran the show.

He did manage to win a UD vs Kid Chocolate

These fighters need a pension fund. Obviously he's broke which is the reason why he is still fighting.

If after 10+ years of ''saving'' during their prime and they're broke, another fight or 2 won't last them long.

At what point does a MFer realize they better start being more thrifty ?

It's sad how many boxers go broke but they are grown men.
                  Actually, it's embarrassing

Trainers should sit their guy down and google ''boxers who went broke'' and learn from those dummies

A lot of these fighters are lacking an education. Most of them are High school dropouts and they trust too easily. They are basically owned. They allow others to run their affairs when they should be the ones doing it themselves.

That is why it’s always important to think for one’s self like Sugar Ray Leonard; Who was self-managed and self-promoted because he had both the brains and ability in order to do so.

That's why I say trainers should step in since they've been their guy the longest.
Still, a grown person is so ignorant they can't maintain their money, they are destined to get ripped.

A good many athletes are just drawn into that ''I need a fleet of Rolls and Bentleys and a 50k square foot mansion and a 200' yacht'' lifestyle.
