However, I think a lot of Whyte problems are mental and fixable. I really, really didnt like the fact that he didn't show up for the open workout. Whyte strikes me as the type who can only really "bring it" to people during press conferences or interviews. When he's had to face any of these opponents he often seems to crumble. I noticed this with both AJ and Fury. He kinda crumbled against both of them. By the mid points of the fight it was a foregone conclusion.
He has this weird mental block where I feel he doesn't genuinely believe he is capable. I mean, why would you prepare for Fury by gaining weight and building muscle in the gym? What ****ing purpose would this serve? Why not promote the biggest fight of your life? Whyte doesn't genuinely believe he is capable deep down. Its like he is afraid of success.
