I don’t even think he believes in himself. He doesn’t come off as confident at all in the recent interviews. Especially in the one Top Rank just released with him and Shakur in the same room.

Bad style for Valdez IMO. He had a lot of trouble with Conciacao and Stevenson is much better.

Zero. Nash out. Nash is a fountain of boxing knowledge.

I’m picking Stevenson because I believe he’s a special talent but let’s not forget this is a massive step up in class for him. Valdez is by far the best fighter he’s been in the ring with. He can’t be ruled out.

I agree. But stylistically, this is all wrong for Valdez. I think Shakur makes it look incredibly easy.

              Outside a punchers chance, nahhh

Stevenson is better in pretty much every category besides power. Just a terrible style matchup for Valdez

A small puncher's chance as other good posters have said.

I think maybe even without his[Valdez] special tea Stevenson lays it on thick for a late TKO stoppage?

A friend definitely got me thinking about that possibility anyway.

Valdez is going to get punished. I don't see him beating shakur.

I’m picking Shakur for similar reasons but he still has to prove he’s capable of beating a guy of Valdez’s calibre. I expect he will. Best young talent in the sport IMO.
