I'd like to see a rocky lll scenario where Fury and sugar Hill train Wilder how to box,he can fight like hell,he just can't box very well.

In the WBC ratings, Wilder is #1 and Frankie Sanchez is #4.
Joyce and Parker are 2 and 3, but they're about to fight for the interim WBO title and will be removed from the WBC ratings.
So if Fury vacates, Wilder and Sanchez would meet for the vacant title.Fact likes this.

When all is said and done wilder maybe the 2nd best of this era. And the 3 fights between fury and wilder were the best this era had to give. But usyk could show us something just that I doubt he will be champ for any decent amount of time before being outweighed and clipped. also......whyte/Joshua all overrated to tard levels. Wilder of all people may go down as the 2nd guy of this era. Whyte shouldn't even be in the top 100 of this era.Castilo likes this.

Usyk is the only other heavyweight that I would assume will beat Wilder. AJ is robotic and has no chin, easy KO. Whyte stinks and has no head movement, easy KO for Wilder, Joe Joyce's head might just be thick enough to trade punches with Wilder and take him out. It will be interesting to see if blocking punches with his face will work vs Parker if Parker will actually throw some combinations.
All the hate that Wilder has gotten for his delusional excuses is warranted, but writing him off as a complete bum that never deserved to fight Fury in the first place has been proven completely false after Whyte failed to have a single moment of real success vs Fury and got knocked out cold by 1 punch. He even threw some wild punches that arguably were worse than Wilder's windmill punches LOL. Fury had to beat Wilder half to death before he could KO him, even while fighting far more aggressively than he did vs Whyte.
If AJ loses to Usyk then I think Wilder vs AJ makes the most sense. Either way I think Wilder seeing how dominant Fury was vs Whyte increases the chances that he will fight again.Last edited by chicken-; 04-24-2022, 11:11 PM.

The only other opponents of note are Klitschko in 2015, Derek Chisora in 2014, and of course Dillian Whyte. He hasn't fought Usyk, Joshua, Ruiz, Parker, who are the other top ranked active fighters. Eye test suggests he probably beats most of them, but his resume just isn't there with heavyweight greats, so his ego requires him to talk up the one top 10 fighter he's actually beaten.
Parker went 12 rounds with Whyte, Chisora, and Andy. Ain't no way he'll be trouble for Fury.
The only guy left is Usyk/AJ. If AJ loses again there's no reason for Fury to fight him. Robotic boxer who is only decent as a brawler.
If Usyk loses it just further supports the fact that he's too small. If he gets battered by AJ then Fury would probably bust him up worse.
So really the only person left is the winner of AJ/Usyk.
However there's also a problem with them. AJ has shown he's a terrible boxer. If Fury decided not to fight him if he beats Usyk I don't think anyone would care. Usyk seems tired and done due to the war and he's not getting any younger.
