What makes it hard for opponents to land punches on Fury

Is it just because of his size and insane reach?

No, it's not. Fury isn't great because of his height, he is great because he has amazing skills and attributes that guys his height do not normally have. Nash out.

No, otherwise Sebastian Fundora would be untouchable.

He's incredibly quick for his size, has very good reflexes, and punches hard enough to discourage most everybody from getting too close.

I'm not one of his adoring fans, but there's no question about Fury being a genuine one-of-a-kind fighting specimen.

That’s most of the reason. But he knows how to fight tall and he knows how to tie up on the inside. Not to mention, he’s actually pretty quick with his feet and hands for his size. Moves his head well.

Put all of that together and he’s hard to deal with.

Wilder landed on Fury in every single round of their third fight, and did he not deck him 5 times over a duration of 3 fights.

Ottin Wallin also busted up Fury real good.

People are getting a bit too carried away with the Whyte performance now. Whyte could hardly move, and was fatigued within 3 rounds.

I still think Fury is there to be hit, against better fighters like Joshua & Uysk.

Fury was not at his best in the 3rd Wilder fight.....look at his 2nd Wilder fight and the Whyte fight, he was lighter and just much better

He’s got tagged up in his career and took massive shots to the head ,Firtha , Cunningham , Chisora ,McDermott Wallin quite a few others have gave him in rough fights but he’s adapted over the years and just is a smarter fighter now . He looked impressive against Whyte but is it becWhyte didn’t apply enough pressure because those guys did and did land more on him ? I think the only real answer is is height , you need to be somewhat a big unit to get really a comfort zone with him , I believe he’d beat Usyk but not the 6”6 A.J who has a 82 inch reach I believe the numbers will matter here .
