A great night for Fury, really happy for the fella.
But for a start that card, i refused to pay. Even the commentators on espn were saying don't quit your day job on the chief support.
& Whyte, for year's on the rematchroom diet of shot old men & cans finally get's his strap shot & did he go for it, no he looked so poor he was seriously over paid. 1 mill would be to much. Fury made the world number 4 (somehow) look like 24.
Fury Ngannou, I'd love to see it, boxing rules with ufc gloves in a cage, if a fat old man like Derrick Lewis or Gane can easily out strike Ngannou, Fury will toy with him.

Fury throws the uppercut, doesn't even hit Whyte's chin in full, he kind of rubs the cheek with the punch. Whyte is seen squeezing his eyes before the punch arrives; he was ready to take it. The interval between the uppercut and the push is extremely short, half a second or so. Whyte has his eyes still open after the punch and in no way I see him falling forward, if not to wrestle a little more with Fury. I don't think he would have fallen face first, had Fury backed up.

What I believe is: when he got pushed down, Whyte wrapped it all up in his mind, by now aware he could not win. He had no more willpower at that moment, and his physical energy was definitely dwindling. Yes, he stumbled when he got up, but I think it was the hard fall after the push that triggered everything.
With all due respect you don't know what your talking about.
The uppercut of a 19 stone giant cracked the chin before grazing up the cheek.
      Whyte was spitting bubbles, again.

Read more carefully, watch more carefully.

I wrote that the punch didn't hit the chin "in full" before the cheek. I never told that Fury missed the chin, or that the punch wasn't a heavy one.

I watched it again, and I'm still firmly convinced that it's Whyte that shut down shop, on all levels, after falling down.

Definitely not. I looked at the video again and again, and to me it's basically Whyte quitting after the fall. More mentally than physically, if you will. He was caught with a good uppercut, got pushed down, landed on his shoulder, so there's not even the excuse Whyte put out of having hit the head on the canvas. It didn't happen.

Once he was down, his mental light went out, and the body followed. I'm even thinking he faked a bit of his spaghetti legs.

I starting to think the way Bruce Seldon did against Mike Tyson. You make it look worse than it was so you dont get a beating

Perfect example, it's the exact same thing that came to my mind. Good actorship by Whyte.

im inagreement with u ive watched a hell of a lot of boxing and i smelled a rat, so after all these yrs. fury is not a brutal 1 punch ko artist/ naw he clipped his chin slid up the side of his face with the punch, the push was extra, also with a firsttime hw ref, and then the complimentary wobble in front of the ref ensured a stoppage,, academy award goes out to dillian, sure povekin ko,d him with a perfectly places uppercut,, he took many more direct hard shots in his bout with aj before finally losing.

Wow! Great pics! Fury put on a dominant performance. Fury showed his greatness in this fight and in terms of ability he's among the best ever!
