The big question: Fury v Usyk

Fury looked fantastic last night but Usyk obviously possesses ring IQ he hasn't seen in a long time, arguably ever.

    How do it go
    19
    Fury wins
    89.47%
    17
    Usyk wins
    5.26%
    1
    AJ beats usyk
    5.26%

Fury UD mosty likely. In terms of pure skills Usyk is probably the best in the division but he'd be giving up too much size and strength vs Fury and doesnt really have a punchers chance either considering his lack of one shot power. He can compensate for those issues vs AJ and probably a fair few other guys just through having the skills to land with volume and build up accumulative damage, but Fury is an extra big HW, very durable, gas tank is fine and hes not easy to get to consistently so i cant see it happening there.

Usyk a great small man in the heavy weight division, but Fury is the great big man. Usyk wasn’t particularly impressive with his win over fossil chisora as well whom fury dispatched like a decade ago. I hope AJ has what it to takes to actually win the rematch decisively as i’d rather have AJ vs fury — but the chances are slim.

I don't know how it goes. But I know it needs to happen if Usyk wins his rematch.

How does Fury deal with such speed, movement and skill? Would Fury be able to land enough on Usyk? Would he be able to get close enough to manhandle him?

How does Usyk deal with a combination of such size and skill? Would he be able to get in and out of range, pot shot and move for the full 12 rounds? Such an intriguing fight.

Usyk would have to be levels and levels above Fury to win that one. He isn't.

Usyk is great and is so smart he can use all his IQ to compete with the bigger guys but Fury also has great IQ AND is a bigger guy.

I think because Fury can make it look ugly and a bit messy ppl mistake it for sloppy, it's not sloppy it's real high IQ stuff packaged in an ugly way. A bit like Andre Ward in his toughest fights. It was ugly and frustrating but Ward knew EXACTLY what he was doing, he was controlling everything.

What's the average punch output for both? Usyk wouldcause issues in there, Furys getting hit quite often now. Whether he wins is a different matter.

Whyte could hardly move, and was extremely fatigued by round 3. Both Joshua & Uysk are on a entirely different level.

In terms of technique, power and stamina.

Anthony Joshua is knocked for his stamina, but Uysk vs Joshua was fought at a higher pace than last nights fight.

And Joshua was fighting fairly hard until the end.

I think both Joshua & Usyk have a good chance of beating Fury. Probably the same percentage for both of them.

But yes, Tyson Fury should be the favorite.

Anthony Joshua is a super heavyweight, its harder than Tyson Fury, and does have a good level of skill.

So this notion that Fury's size is going to intimidate Usyk is nonsense, and it definitely will not intimidate Joshua.

I will still say that Fury is there to be hit. It is great that Tyson Fury won last night.

But do you guys think, Whyte would beat Usyk & Joshua? Joshua would probably beat Whyte more cleanly these days, and not get hit at all.

Joshua has gone backwards in some ways, but certain dimensions to his game have improved. His boxing skills, are pretty much kryptonite for Whyte etc.
