Lol nice one bro. Fearless is a wonderful gym, I was sceptical about it at first but they're producing so many solid guys now. Tyron Woodley does most of his wrestling there with Kamby too (he and his brothers are great coaches). Renegade is awesome too, know a ton of good guys there.

Do you remember the UTC up in Erdington? that place was unbelievably fancy. I heard it just weirdly closed down out of nowhere a few years back though.

You have Ortiz on his resume and then not really much else, maybe Stiverne from the first fight.
This right here. Wilder needs to go out and prove it by winning fights. Not by getting out boxed and knocked out by Tyson Fury.

Yeah I remember it well. Had a few classes there. It was a nice gym with good equipment but according to some fighters it left a little to be desired on the coaching front. I think Fearless is better in that respect as they're way more **** about guiding you into the right fights and events.

How many legit HWs are there ?

Fury has Wilder 3x (who Fury fans have always said was a one trick pony bum) and past it Wlad (dullest ''fight'' of recent memory).
              That's not exactly a who's who resume.
He should've fought Wlad, but instead he chose to fight cans while the younger and less experienced Fury and AJ stepped up to fight him. Look at the clowns Beyonce defended against after first winning the belt. Then he avoided AJ and thought his cherry-pick of fat slob retired Fury would finally put a real name on his resume but it backfired. Stop nut-hugging the pathetic twerker.

Joshua doesn’t have the killer instinct or dog in him. Ruiz beat it out of him. Wilder stops him for sure. Usyk can prove more if he beats Joshua again and maybe a few others. But Wilder would be live against him the entire fight. Luis Ortiz would have killed Whyte and likely beat Joshua as well 3 years ago.

I am waiting for the new, young prospects to grow like the real big baby etc.
I would put him 3rd behind Usyk, who I believe is right with Canelo and Crawford for top p4p boxer in the sport- ahead of Inoue and Spence.

I am on record as saying Wilder is a bum and lacks skills but he gave Fury a tough go even though I had him losing all 3 fights.

If AJ beats Usyk I will put him above Wilder. If he doesn’t then maybe wilder v AJ should be made to settle it.

Wilder should have fought the shot version of Wlad so haters could say he beat the shot version of Wlad ?!?!?
Like they do with AJ ???

No, mo.ron, he should've fought Wlad to unify after winning his paper belt, but instead he fought cans while the younger and less experience Fury/AJ stepped up to Wlad. He was the most protected "champ" in history.

Even when they were both prospects, I thought Wilder would be the toughest matchup for the future champ Fury because he is of similar size/reach and has a quick trigger. Fury is fast but Wilder can be quick and sudden and I thought that distinction would play out. Wilder could get there first and would be dangerous despite his flaws , despite him being one handed all that - I think it's fine to recognize he's not that "good" technically but say he has other intangibles that he's put on display: tenacity, power, quickness (not speed), heart, toughness, great finisher. HW is like another dimension , standard are different.

Watching on Saturday, I could immediately feel that it wasn't Wilder across the ring from Fury; it was big relief after sitting on the edge of my seat for 3 Wilder fights.

Really not sure if that makes him 2nd best in the division as a whole but maybe he ends being the toughest challenge to Fury. Fury still has to continue beating the rest to prove that means anything thought- for now, I can see why people see that as a downside, that he had to battle with Wilder.

anyway, some reason it makes me eager to see Wilder fight again but I have to remember that he may not be the same anymore, he left pieces of himself in there, gave it all
