Haven’t read the other answers, but the answer seems obvious; playing basketball and football. Could you imagine if soccer and boxing were popular in America?

Ever since the US stopped producing HW's the division has been total garbage and this trash like Fury/Whyte is now what we're left with.

Reach a far as you can, reach into distant land, be all you can be, but you ain't got no plan. Procreate, amalgamate, assimilate, why can't I see something different on TV? Some symbol of freedom and democracy?

Why ain't you worried? Man, with your food, land, and future being taken why ain't you shaking, why ain't you thinking, about the lives and chances your government is taking?

Nah, keep the nose down, get a good job, raise a family, be respected by your peers and tell one-sided stories from over the years. You gonna die, incredibly average. Same as your brother before you, same as your brother after you. But yer mah and pah will be proud because you took no chance, and made no stance.

Or worse, you did, right in line and in step with some other man who told you to....Politicult ****s.

            Trailblazer? Not likely

How about a clone? a drone? You do anything on your own?

            How American is that ****?

Oh gee, oh my, I hope I fit in. Oh gee I hope no one notices me. Oh my can I just be a cog in the machine?

Rage against the machine is more than a name of a band and you mother ****er are asleep. Or maybe you ain't, maybe you're worse. You recognize the only real truth in American exceptionalism is the fact for a while American believed in it and by way of that belief produced the world as you know it. This website, this electricity, your ****ing devices and clothes, damn near everything modern. Then we stopped, got jobs, and no one even makes an attempt to be a complete person who is a drone for no man.

Boxing is an individual effort and as such requires a society centered around individualism, America is full blown into a commie-esque community driven society at the moment. Capitalism? Evil, ennit? But yo, community rights matter, best to not piss off womurnz, best to not piss of brown people, best to not piss of LGBTs, best to not piss off handicaps, how long can I go with communities who it's best to not piss off in America anymore? You know it, all god damn day.

That **** is the most unamerican bull****.

And don't mistake me. If you a red and think I just said what you been saying, no, you part of the problem too. Stop joining cults you ****** prick. Stop adhereing to cult demands. Land of the free? Land of individual rights? Land of liberty?

How TF is any man meant to rise and pea**** and show this world just how massive his johnson actually is? Being a proud man is toxic anymore, and, even worse proud men feel bad for the weak, lame, lazy, and ****** ****s who feel like they need community.

Y'all say what you like about me, I'm not as weird as y'all claim. I am oldschool. I be **** swinging all over this hoe. I announce my own exceptionalism. I dare to be someone and that is why I am the only mother ****er in this thread or on this forum you can watch on your TV.

Just stop giving a **** about the weak and we won't be so ****ing weak anymore. Let them cry in their corners because that is all they are good for. Yes I do mean the Trump hoes too.

Well, you also have to consider the options.

How many guys like Fury have the option to do anything sports wise in Europe? Specially the UK.

He isn't from Spain where he could be a volleyball player with his size.

What else? Play GK? Well that requires youth academy acumen. Which costs money. Don't have money? Well you aren't playing football.

John Isner is a pro tennis player ffs, 6'10" and he's shaped just like Fury.

Which isn't to say they can be a champion.

But it is to say, the guys with heavy weight measurements are doing other things and not even trying or thinking about boxing.

                Why?

                They have options.

Boxing you're either groomed for it from a young age.

Or you're doing it cause you can't do anything else, you're not good in school either, and it's an income.

Why do that when they have options?

Guys as small as Mayweather have options in Europe.

                  Majority play football.

Someone like Robert Lewandowski who has a taekwondo black belt could be fighting in combat sports.

                  But he has options.

Why do that, when they can kick a football instead of get their head smashed in?

Lomachenko was groomed from a young age to box.

So, he boxes. But without that. Dude would be kicking a ball around like Shevchenko instead.

I'm no expert on Basketball but i'm guessing like most sports the vast majority of players have been playing since a vey young age. Before they knew how big they would grow. They didn't just decide i'm big, i want to play basketball.

exactly. Football and Basketball have taken many kids. Plus with the new NIL deals these kids are going to be even harder to pull.
