hencefourth known as "The Russian Weeble Woble!" The Russian looked worse than me crying out in pain trying to hoist up on stairs with this bad knee.

He’s put a lot in without much in return. I was there at the start of his career when he was on undercards even on a Luke Campbell undercard at one stage. It’s nice to see him finally make it to the top.

Hope both leave the ring healthy and go home to enjoy life with their families. Give us a great fight lads and let the best man on the night win!
A Luke Campbell undercard is decent. I bet a lot of boxers would scrap to get that exposure, especially at the start of their career. Campbell was pretty well known after the olympics and had sponsorships with Subway etc.

I do get what you mean though, he’s had to take on tough opposition without as much fanfare or £££ as AJ etc.

I really didn’t mean it derogatory about Luke but after reading it back it does come Across as though I am.

I was trying to put across how far Whyte really Has come and he’s built a decent size fan base, lots of them don’t bother with all these forums And he really didn’t have many back then.

Im glad you’ve pulled me up on that and I could explain better.

I have seen many Whyte`s fights. He ****** almost always. I find it hard to believe Fury has anything to worry. Whyte was on shaking legs when wach or Parker started landing.

Fury said, this is 32 times better than Whytes best payday. Let's do the math. Call it 8 mil to keep it simple. Whip out the old abicus. That's just 250K. Whyte was KO victim of the year, he deserves a payday.

Whyte looked strong and it's heavyweight boxing and Whyte can certainly hit hard enough to take any one out. But apart from that he ain't a better boxer than fury he's slow on his feet alot slower then deontay wilder but is a better boxer than wilder technically but Whyte tends to lose his shape in fights especially if he gets caught. I see it being a good fight with fury probably stopping Whyte late

It's boxing, and they have the skills, it's not a bodybuilding contest, and these are big heavyweights.
Tbf, Fury has the skills, despite his physique. Whyte has a good shot variety and decent technique (his weird jab not withstanding) but lacks all the other attributes; esp. footwork and balance. Been thinking for ages that he could stand to lose some weight and come out the other side improved in these areas.

Yeah he did say that, but Fury says a lot of stuff. Surely Whyte must have earned more than that on PPV? You would think, anyway.

It’s hard to say Whyte hasn’t had much in return

Sky put him on PPV after PPV, usually in fights that should be nowhere near PPV, Not bad for a guy that’s only won a British title..

Still I get what you’re saying. He’s done well for himself when you look at his early career, he never had the same support as many others. I think the only real thing he had was the footage of him beating AJ in the amateurs and hurting him. That’s pretty much what landed him the AJ fight in the pros and he gave a decent account of himself in defeat and got a platform. Whyte was raw then and fighting with one arm too.
