Like many have said a fighter can say he's ready but once that punch hits and the mind puts that punch to the punch that broke the orbital bone; fear sets in quick even if the fighter doesn't realize it the brain unconsciously put two and two together. It's what the fighter does after this happens that make or brakes a fighter and most fighter are broken and don't understand what happened or how it happened. Just look at Kell Brook who was special and now well isn't so special.
We have also seen where Thurman is at, an average performance against a 140 guy that a LW stopped in his previous bout, Thurman is a stepping stone at the moment.

Id rather see Ennis vs Thurman on the undercard of Spence vs TC.

I get that, but I feel like Thurman style could give him problems.

But I'm not gonna defend Thurman too much, and wouldn't put money on him for sure.

A motivated Thurman is a dangerous Thurman. People sleep on him now but they forget that he was once THE guy at 147. He was the unified champ before Spence was. Ya'll needa put somem respect on his name, for real. Ya'll making me come outta character. Shoot. "One Time!!"

I laud Ugas for wanting to only fight established fighters unlike guys like Jermall Charlo
and others who want nothing but an endless ****** of cab drivers wasting his prime,
then disappear for a year. It's disappointing.
But Ugas need to take a long break and start acquiring new style of fighting.
