Ugas ended up fighting from the 7th round on with a broken face and just kept taking shot after shot. I wouldn't fight again until 2023 and then take on a bottom top 10-15 WW before getting back with the top guys.

Ugas vs DSG is a nice shout though, even fight on paper. But the fight may be a bit boring with both just waiting to counter the other.
His injury isn't nowhere near as serious as Kell Brook's were. In Kell's case, they had to remove both of his orbital bones; First from the Golovkin fight and secondly from the Spence fight and replaced them with metal plates.

None of that has happened to Ugas thus far thank God. With the proper rest he should be just fine and completely healed. However, I do agree with you that he should take the remainder of 2022 off though in order to rest and for his body to heal completely.

      How is that a kid?
Relax! It's just an expression and a figurative of speech. In all seriousness, the man has come a long way to become a major welterweight title holder. He was detained six times just for attempting to defect from his home country in order to turn professional so he can take of his family.

On that alone; He shall always remain a champion to me from what he endured and persevered all those years as he traveled along the way to success and never quit pursuing his dreams and goals. He is the stuff what real champions are made of.

He demonstrated a tremendous amount of courage and championship heart in that ring on Saturday night against Errol Spence, Jr while making fans like myself and his countrymen very proud.

I'm not talking about after the Spence fight....Kell was able to return in like 9 months after the GGG fight but that's because his corner had pulled him before it was about to get ugly for him...Ugas ended up taking a beating late in the fight with many shots to his broken orbital bone. He needs time to rest and regroup.

He doesn't even speak English so that's PBC reps speaking for him. You better add these guys to the P4P list also.

                Johny Garcia 11-0
                Manuel Robles 9-0-1
                Amir Imam 13-0
                Booster Porter 29-2-1

This guy was literally being fed to prospects and had a nice run of luck at the end to get an old faded Manny and the Spence.

Enough of the talk. We have been listing to PBC welterweights and their bull since 2016.

Just make the Crawford fight. No excuses anymore no Arum. Got my CC ready.

The body took the real pounding, the fracture doesn't need surgery 6wks all good, that kind of pounding will give him night sweats for a while.

I mean it depends on the type of fracture it was and if it is a mild fracture or not. Ugas very well may need surgery but yes, he took a lot of punishment all over his body.

Ugas won me over some time ago with his work ethic and persona. He’s a fairly limited boxer, but he’s squeezed almost everything possible from his natural abilities and opportunities. After the Manny fight, Yordenis was a very humble victor. Now he’s showing grace in defeat. How can you not like the guy?
