Mr Hindsight says Mike should have gotten the attention of a stewardess. You don't make a bad situation worse. Yes, Mike was ''assaulted'' but his fists can be deadly..That water bottle, not so much.

When a celeb places themselves in a public surrounding, what do they expect ?

I worked in law enforcement and corrections as a CO and also a sheriff, I guarantee you Tyson did absolutely nothing wrong here and will not get charged for anything at all.

All Tyson needs to prove is that his behavior was justified under the circumstances, for it to be called self defense. Thanks to the video footage and eyewitness accounts, Tyson will be cleared of any wrong doing.
If some of your vast knowledge says so.........

the clown was behaving like a 13yo girl at a Katy Perry concert

what a immature jerk... Mike took the time to talk to him, and even took a photo with him... he should have left Mike in peace, especially after Tyson repeatedly asked him to chill

what a fkn idiot... why did he think that Tyson would want, or allow, the guy to bark in his ear for the remainder of the flight... that is just straight-up rude

he should have had more class, and he should have had more respect

        clown

I totally approve of the etiquette training that Mike conducted... behavioral modification is a good thing, the guy is now a better human being

          It's common sense.
If I hit a person with a small crumpled up piece of paper, that person doesn't have the right to beat me with a baseball bat.

Mike was not injured in any way. He should have thrown the water bottle back at the cvnt.

Mike has a good heart... he will probably forget about the whole thing, and may not even sue the guy for harassment

I still say celebs should travel 1st class or private.

As much as we applaud a55holes getting what's coming, Mike's fists are more dangerous than that bottle. And I think that's what a judge might take into consideration. Especially in this woke era we live in. Nothing makes sense.

He did not have to call anyone.

Celebrities aren’t stripped of basic human rights just because they are famous. You can’t harass and assault a celebrity just because you think they should have taken a private jet. That’s not valid in court.

Is throwing a water bottle at someone a fatal action? No. Is it assault? Yes. Can I punch you in the face for throwing a water bottle at me unprovoked? Yes. Can I kill you for that? No.

Mike Tyson was assaulted. That’s all. There is no technicality to use here about how harmless a water bottle is and how harmful fists are. It’s assault.

Watch the video up top. A woman went behind the counter, threatening to assault the McDonald’s worker. She was met with a pipe and facial injuries.

Do you know what happened to that McDonald’s worker for beating the crap out of that woman? Nothing, no charges or anything. And he’s an ex convict (I know him). Ex con’s get no leniency usually. The woman was actually charged.

She was hit with a pipe to the head, multiple times, and SHE was charged and the McDonald’s worker was not. SHE suffered injuries, SHE went through serious bodily harm. And she was charged.

The video showed enough proof, that the woman initiated the entire incident. She was the aggressor. She instigated. It does not matter how little harm she did to him and how much harm he did to her.

Tyson using his fists on that idiot is one of the most tamest ways to fend off an aggressor. There was no gun shots, no stabbing, no blunt objects were used by Tyson. Just his fists. He is 100% legally in the clear.

Too long, you may not read -

Like I said before, I am not condoning the actions of an idiot.
Never said celebs shouldn't have rights to living worry free of idiots, Just saying the shlt can be avoided. Paparazzi can make a small fortune taking pictures of celebs kissing. Does that shlt happen to us non celebs ? Who will GAF about us kissing someone ? Celebs out on the town with their kids shouldn't make it into the news column but it does. Celebs know this and most hire bodyguards or babysitters and travel 1st class or private jet to thwart such attention.

Us regular people don't get harassed to this degree for a reason. Notice homeboy didn't bother the person next to him. Why ? Because that person was a nobody.
                    Celeb autographs are worth money.
                    Ours ?!?!?

IOW, shlt is different for celebs and they ''should'' know it.

A woman walking around naked should expect certain reactions.
Right or wrong. Sometimes it's up to a person to protect themselves.
Mike has every right to travel coach.....but he shouldn't.

                    As for assaults....
Mike will be getting sued and he will ''lose''
A judge will take 2 things into account - the moron who couldn't leave a person alone and assaults that person with a water bottle without provocation.
A judge will also see to what degree were Mike's reaction ''reasonable''. A normal person hitting that a55hole, no problem. A one time boxing world champion ??? Could be a problem.
A judge will most likely award any medical bills the chump is out of pocket x3 (due to Mike once being a boxer and should know his hands are legit weapons). He has to refrain, whenever possible, from using them.

Just like a homeowner has to refrain from using deadly force on a home invader, whenever possible.
If I enter your house illegally and you see I'm an unarmed drunk fool stumbling around naked, you can't shoot me.

Homeboy did not physically invade Mike's space as that loser did in the fast food clip.

In that case, a person can assume the invader has the potential to cause bodily harm. The worker applied just enough force to end the threat. If he went on to stab the person who was beaten unconscious. That employee is going to jail.

                    https://www.findlaw.com/criminal/cri...-intruder.html

''The prime difference between self-defense generally and the Castle Doctrine is that there's no duty to retreat and there's a presumption that deadly force was necessary.''

I'm applying common sense more than any knowledge of law (except the link).

that guy looks drunk in the those pictures. some people are idiots and have to poke the bear to find out what will happen.

I hope mike doesnt get any legal problems from dealing with this idiot. even if its not criminal charges he will surely find some lawyer that will be willing to sue mike over this nonsense
