Comments Thread For: Dillian Whyte Claims Credit for Building Up Tyson Fury Early in Career

Dillian Whyte believes Tyson Fury is where he is today in part thanks to the work Whyte provided many years ago. The Jamaican-born, London-based Whyte, who broke his media silence recently, said in an interview with Steve Bunce that Whyte, along with a few other heavyweights, were responsible for instilling in Fury the qualities that have made him a heavyweight champion.

By 2012-13 Fury was already British Champion and World Ranked. Meanwhile Beetlejuice was an unranked novice ex kick-boxer.

    Delusional c***…

Whyte always had John Fury apprehensive on taking this fight . The past suggests the Furys know something about Whyte and don’t want to chance the match up but now they’re forced into it and still think it’s the easier fight then the Usyk one that was on the table . I don’t know Fury sounds like a guy calling it a day while Whyte sounds like a hungry man looking to do damage. If Fury is not on point he’s going to lose this fight for sure ,Whytes to big a puncher who can hold his own in the ring and is able to corner Fury in spots could be the new champion .

Maybe Hughie Fury you could say this about, considering he claimed he won’t fight Whyte in a British title fight because “we’re friends and have a great relationship.”

Few months later Hughie and Peter we’re backing Chisora to beat Whyte so Dillian had a meltdown and lost it over them “not backing him”.

But some of us have selective memory, don’t we Redeemer?

There’s nothing selective about if John said Tyson would retire before ever facing Whyte and declined a WBC mandated fight in 2019 way before that . The only one with selective memory are the posters like you so why even make stuff up when I could just post what happened ?

John didn't want to give Whyte a payday due to all the smack he's talked about the Fury family.

Whyte is a bum, nobody is ducking him.

In other words Whyte is the Furys boogeyman ?Anyone that picks against any Fury is talking smack ,John even tried to get Haye barred from the event and wanted to beat up Frampton ,it’s showing very mental weakness Id like to see John should Fury lose that may be an event in itself .

You don't even believe that mate you just type any waffle that comes to your mind because your hate for Fury defeats all logic and you block people who put it on you for your bs.

Like i say, nobody is scared of Whyte, he's just got a big mouth for someone who has achieved nothing in the sport.

Whyte is a tough fight for Fury. He's a genuine top 6 opponent. Whyte has been fighting more top-10 guys than Fury has.

Also I remember before Whyte Vs AJ. Fury was saying how great Whyte was from sparring with him and how he was a real fighter and that he would beat AJ. He was being genuine at the time.

I also remember Fury giving his word he would fight Whyte if the WBC made it for their diamond belt. The WBC agreed and Fury suddenly got scared and pulled out.... He wasn't expecting them to agree lol
