. I don’t recall that his fight weight has ever been revealed, but Benavidez is pretty broad with little to no tapering to the waste. He is at least One to 1.5 inches taller than Caleb Plant who is listed at 6’1”. He should be able to get good fights at light heavy.

Benevidez manager already made it clear they don't want any part of Andrade.

So he will be 2 divisions higher than Jermall? That is just funny. They should fight each other.

I'd like to hear Plant's side of the story as to why these two can't meet in September @168.

He won't have the luxury of going up to 175 with the same stuff running through Clenelo's veins.

While benavidez hasn’t done much as a pro, anyone from his early days will remember him sparring middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik at only age 16 and looking like a dam pro.
David is a boxing phenom. Just lazy, addicted to coke and won’t challenge himself...but world class skills are there.

Itīs not that they donīt want part of Andrade. The way you say it might sound as if Benavidez was scared of him or something, you must be a casual. Benavidez beats Andrade, but Andrade will run, hug, jab all night trying to survive and lose by decision so he can say " It was close ", " I won " or other nonsense like that. Thatīs the reason no one except maybe another Afro fighter wants to fight him.

Hasnīt done much as a pro?? What are you smoking? He is the youngest champion in his weight class. The problem is that he is with PBC, wich is krap, and boxing politics donīt make good fighters fight each other for financial reasons.

Plantīs story is the same " Iīve got bigger fish to fry ". Always evading Benavidez. He was even insulted by Benavidezīs dad and David too and just hides his head inside a hole, like an ostrich. If Plant wanted the fight, just beg for it.

Last I heard from Plant he wanted the fight. Benevidez and his dad say he doesn't.

I've not heard Plant say he doesn't, that's what I'm looking for.
